In the field of internal medicine the care of our patients is also ensured at any time as a result of the close co-operation of the consultant department of doctors specialising in internal medicine.

The consultant department of doctors specialising in internal medicine work together in the assessment of pre-operative findings and the treatment of postoperative clinical pictures. Many years age we implemented the repeatedly required close co-operation of doctors specialising in gastroenterology and visceral surgery. The department of internal medicine has an endoscopic investigation centre which specialises in enteroscopy and gastroscopy.

In addition, in the department for internal medicine all internal medicine ultra sound examinations and doppler sonographic examinations of the peripheral vessels are carried out. The two consultants for internal medicine completed their training at a large, well-known university hospital and were already employed there as consultants for other surgical departments. In their own medical practices their work comprises the entire spectrum of outpatient internal medicine.
